Here is another Venetian window. This time I decided to use some old coloured paper I had lying around since my first try at pastels eons ago... I had a lot of fun with this one. Faber-Castell Polychroms pastels on 14" x 17" Canson sanguine paper.
A neat little page to highlight my work and bring it to the public eye. Everything on this page is for sale - just leave a comment with your email and we'll talk!
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I now make my home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
A lifelong artist, I have worked in a variety of mediums over the years: batik, watercolour, tempera, clay, wood, leather, collage, mixed media and (of course!) pastels.
I have also shown my work in a variety of galleries and shows in Argentina, Ecuador, Peru and Calgary.
I earned my Master's in Architecture & Urban Planning from the University of Buenos Aires and hold a diploma in Computer Technology.
I am always taking courses and participating in workshops, and it was at one of those, at the Wildflower Art Center in Calgary, that I became reacquainted with pastels. It was love at first (rather, second...) sight and I have been painting in that medium since.
