Calypso I

Back from vacation in Panama, I finished a painting that I started there, on a rainy day in Isla Carenero (Bocas del Toro, on the Caribbean side). It rained for 3 of the 4 days that we spent there, which was unexpected at that time of the year.

The Cellist

At the opening of our art show last year there was a young girl playing the cello for our entertainment. I hope to have captured the sweetness of the moment.

Lavender fields

This painting was inspired by a town in Southern France.
At 50 x 76 cm it is larger than my usual paintings, and done on a surface that I decided never to use again (Canson Mi-Teintes Touch).

My first Winter scene

I am not a winter person, so I tend to shy away from painting it, but I decided to give it a try.
This is another small pastel painting (18 x 24 cm), painted on PastelMat.
